Hello, I'm Michael from the NORRES group. Today I want to give you an overview about our different hose clamps.

Hose clamps

Let's start with the universal clamp CLAMP 212, which is suitable for externally corrugated spiral hoses. For example, you can use it for the AIRDUC 350 hose. Please make sure that the band is lying between the spiral and the bridge is lying on the spiral.

As an inexpensive alternative to the CLAMP 212 here we have the CLAMP 210 with a plastic bridge clamp.

An additional version of the CLAMP 212 is the CLAMP 212 EC. This is identical to the 212 clamp but with an earthing cable. The band of the clamp has to be lie between the spiral and the bridge has to lie on the spiral. For grounding it is important that the pin inside is tightened into the spiral for grounding the hose.

The CLAMP 208 is also an universal clamp, but for outside smooth spiral hoses, such as our BARDUC 381.

The CLAMP 211 has a hinge bolt and is very well suited for heavy spiral hoses like the BARDUC 381 with robust fastening.

The bridge clamp CLAMP 217 is also a bridge clamp which can be used for external corrugated spiral hoses such like the 350 AS. The clamp has an additional eyelet for hanging up ventilation hoses, for example. Also with this kind of bridge clamp it is important that the band is lying between the spiral and the bridge is over the spiral.

Finally we have the CLAMP 213 for externally corrugated spiral hoses. Such as the 350 where you can tighten a hose clamp without any tools Also here, please make sure that the band is lying between the spiral and the bridge is over the spiral.

CONNECT 228 - Clamp protection tape

The CONNECT 228 is a cover tape which can be used for all kind of bridge clamps. Depending on the clamping range, the clamp should be tightened between two to four Newton meters. Clamping ranges smaller than 20 millimeter with approx. 2 Newton meters and clamping ranges larger than 20 millimeter with approx. 4 Newton meters
