NORRES hoses are certified acc. to UL94-HB

The horizontal fire test is used for the HB-classification of a material. It is calculated for a test specimen as a function of the burning rate and taking account of the material thickness. For extraction units, ventilation in vehicles or boats and caravans, or for the use at extraction arms and in explosion hazard areas – the PROTAPE^® PUR 301 AS is a well suited option:

• super-light weight, highly flexible + compressible 3:1
• abrasion and microbe resistant
• permanently antistatic wall: electrical and surface resistance <10⁹ Ω
• flame-retardant according to: UL94-HB & DIN4102-B1
• in accordance with ATEX 2014/34/EU

For conveying of foods and pharmaceuticals or for the use in mixers, dosing systems or packaging machines, the AIRDUC^® PUR 351 FOOD is particularly suitable due to the following properties:

• highly abrasion resistant and medium-heavy duty
• microbe and hydrolysis resistant
• food grade polyurethane, complies with: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010
• flame-retardant according to: UL94-HB

The vertical fire test is used for the determination of the burning classes UL94-V0, V1, V2. It evaluates both, the burning and afterglow times after repeated flame application and dripping of the burning test specimen. For conveying of granulates and raw material, in use at surface preparation, in use on sweeping machines and road milling machines or at industrial vacuum cleaners – the AIRDUC^® PUR 355 AS convinces with:

• good resistance to oil, gasoline, and chemicals
• highly abrasion resistant and increased pressure and vacuum resistance
• permanently antistatic wall: electrical and surface resistance <10⁹ Ω
