Suction hoses

NORRES suction hoses are used in a wide variety of industries. Our range includes hoses made of Pre-PUR®, PVC, TPE, PE, EVA and silicone. We provide the complete range of suction hoses for the transport of abrasive media, dusts and gases.

Production

We produce suction hoses as standard products in various constructions and diameters, made of different materials and in a wide range of designs.

We also adapt the design and properties of the suction hoses to our customers' needs in close consultation with them. In this way, we realise an important added value: we supply you with the ideal hose.

Product variability

Very good abrasion resistance and high load capacities are basic product characteristics of suction hoses. NORRES offers you the right suction hose for every application: for conveying foodstuffs, for wood dust extraction, for fume extraction or for conveying raw materials. In order to achieve a large number of different application possibilities, we use different, high-quality materials for our hoses. With our many established brands and hose designs, some of which are patented, we cover a very wide range of applications:

AIRDUC

AIRDUC®

From the antistatic suction hose AIRDUC® 350 to the super-heavy suction hose AIRDUC® 357, we offer you a wide range of AIRDUC® profile hoses, which stand out due to their high inner smoothness and a flow-optimised profile shape. Depending on the area of application, you can also choose between, among other things, a microbe- and hydrolysis-resistant and food-safe suction hose (FOOD), an electrically conductive or antistatic suction hose (EC and AS), a suction hose suitable for high temperatures (HT) or a reinforced suction hose (REINFORCED).

BARDUC®

The BARDUC® PVC 381 has a wall made of high-quality soft PVC and is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, especially for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries, due to its pronounced pressure, vacuum and peak pressure resistance as well as good resistances (alkalis, acids, chemicals, UV, ozone). Another suction hose from the BARDUC® range is the BARDUC® PUR-INOX 382 FOOD-AS with a wall made of premium ether polyurethane, which is particularly suitable for suction and conveying of foodstuffs due to its properties.

TIMBERDUC®

Due to its characteristics, the flame-retardant and permanently antistatic TIMBERDUC® PUR 533 AS is particularly suitable for wood dust extraction in the production and processing of wood.

NORPLAST®

From our NORPLAST® product range we offer you a wide selection of suction hoses, optionally with a wall made of premium polyurethane (Pre-PUR®) or high-quality soft PVC. The suction hoses of the NORPLAST® product series are optionally available antistatic and with earthing strand. The portfolio also includes light hose types - such as NORPLAST® PVC 383 or NORPLAST® PUR 385 AS (LD), but also heavy variants - such as NORPLAST® PUR 387 ANTIABRASIVO® or NORPLAST® PVC 389 NAFTOIL BUNA.

EVA

The lightweight suction hose EVA 373 (or the variants EVA 373 AS (antistatic) as well as EVA 373 EC (electrically conductive) is characterised by its tread resistance as well as floatability. Due to its properties, the EVA 373 with its eponymous wall made of ethylene vinyl acetate is particularly suitable as a suction hose in industrial vacuum cleaners and for swimming pool cleaning.

Properties

In order for a suction hose to function optimally, it is necessary to select it according to its properties and the corresponding operating conditions. The operating conditions include the medium to be transported, pressure, external influences and, for example, the bending radius.

In addition, standards and approvals play an important role in some industries. In this case, hoses for the food and pharmaceutical industries are subject to strict regulations. The extraction of abrasive solids such as dusts, powders and fibres also requires high safety standards.

Antistatic / electrically conductive hoses

The ATEX directive and the German TRGS 727 state: For flammable bulk materials and in potentially explosive atmospheres, hoses with a conductive or electrically conductive wall should be used.

Permanently antistatic

We use a special material for permanently antistatic hoses. This makes the suction hoses permanently antistatic.

Interior smoothness

Many hoses have a very good internal smoothness, i.e. they have a very high conveying capacity: They have a very high conveying capacity and the material to be conveyed is transported gently.

Icon Innenglätte

Abrasion-resistant

NORRES develops suction hoses made of Pre-PUR®. These are abrasion-resistant, particularly durable and achieve a long service life when conveying highly abrasive media.

Icon Abriebfest

Flame retardant

Suction hoses with this property are flame-retardant or self-extinguishing. Often they also fall below a certain fire velocity.

Colouring

Some suction hoses from our portfolio can be partially or completely coloured - this depends on the nature of the respective hose type. Part colouring offers the advantage that the conveying process can be observed.

Applications

Suction hoses are used on extraction systems. They are used in numerous industries - for example:

  • in the food and pharmaceutical industry
  • in agriculture
  • on mobile and stationary extraction systems
  • on machines in the wood and plastics industry
  • on municipal vehicles
