Depending on the product variant, our polyurethane hoses are antistatic (AS) or foodsafe (FOOD) and comply with the ATEX guideline and the German TRGS 727 respectively the corresponding EU-directives. Hoses, couplings and safety clamp systems for silo vehicles
Applications and properties:
For use on silo vehicles, NORRES not only offers hoses, but also suitable couplings and safety clamp systems. The most suitable hoses are NORPLAST® PUR-C 386 AS (XHD) and AIRDUC® PUR 356 FOOD (XHD) with very high abrasion resistance and increased pressure and vacuum resistance. As an alternative, the following models are also suitable for use on silo vehicles: BARDUC® PVC 381 FOOD (HD), NORPLAST® PUR-C 387 AS (XXHD), PVC 379 GREEN SUPERELASTIC (HD), PVC 389 SUPERELASTIC PLUS (XHD) and PVC-C 389 SUPERELASTIC WEAR STRIP (XHD), AIRDUC® PUR 355 AS (HD) and PUR 356 AS (XHD). We also have suitable couplings and integration systems in our range, such as TRI clamp couplings, milk pipe couplings, aseptic couplings but also Storz couplings, tank truck couplings, Kamlok couplings and cardan couplings. We will be happy to assemble these for you on the interior, ready made, with clamping shells, pressed or moulded on.

Can hoses be assembled on request?
Almost any desired hose length can be connected and assembled with one of the recommended fittings.
Which hoses are used for transporting pellets?
Here, the NORPLAST® PUR-C 386 AS (XHD) is used successfully in practice.
Do I need electrically conductive hoses?
In order to avoid damage to the control electronics on the silo or on the vehicle, we recommend our AS or C-AS hoses as well as a professional earthing of the spiral.
Why should PUR hoses be resistant to hydrolysis?
With non-hydrolysis-resistant PUR hoses, contact with liquid media (including cleaning agents such as water) can cause damage to the wall material, which can lead to long-term failure of the hose.

The food suitability (FOOD) of our hoses was tested by an independent testing laboratory.
The raw materials and additives used by NORRES comply with the following official guidelines:
• EU Directive 10/2011, EC 1935/2004 and the latest EU Directive 2015/174
