Chemical resistance is what matters.

Mixing various materials can lead to improvement or worsening of resistance. Thus statements regarding chemical resistance only apply to a particular medium. The utility of each hose is also influenced by the particular operating conditions, such as higher temperature, extreme chemical exposure, mechanical and associated dynamic stresses. If synthetic materials come in contact with media to which they are not resistant according to resistance lists, this does not necessarily mean that the product will fail. For example, high but reversible swelling can be classified as a lack of resistance.

Therefore we recommend in cases where exact specifications are required:

  • Run a test in our laboratory with the corresponding medium at the application temperature.
  • Determine these data by experiments at the location of use. (If there is no experience with use, we will gladly make the necessary materials available for testing.)
