NORRES Schlauchtechnik GmbH & Co. KG has every reason to be pleased with the POWTECH 2008 fair in Nuremberg. In addition to the wide range of hoses and hose systems for transport and suction of bulk material such as powder and pellets, it was the new CONNECT clamp systems that caused the greatest stir among visitors. For the first time, NORRES’ lightweight, flexible and abrasion-proof polyurethane hoses can now be clamped to all standard connection types. Experts from around the globe profited from the informal atmosphere at the NORRES exhibition stand to glean information about this innovative technique for connecting commercially available fittings to polyurethane hoses, which generates a clear reduction in maintenance, energy and process costs.
The mood in the exhibition halls at POWTECH and TechnoPharm was very good – exhibitors at the combined exhibition especially emphasised the quality, expertise and willingness to invest shown by some 15,000 trade visitors from all over the world. Very encouraging from their viewpoint was the keen interest among visitors from abroad – who accounted for well over 25% of the total number. The response from visitors was also positive, with approximately 96% stating that they were extremely satisfied with the products on display at the high-tech exhibition duo. The excellent atmosphere was equally in evidence at the NORRES stand: the run on the Gelsenkirchen hose manufacturer’s booth was overwhelming. In the course of the three exhibition days NORRES forged numerous new customer contacts.
