Plastic conduits of PVC:PVC is an inexpensive, versatile material. Although the use of PVC in particular has been repeatedly criticised in recent years, there are still many good reasons, primarily technical ones, for resorting to this raw material. Its excellent chemical resistance (see chapter 11.1), especially to acids and bases, is an immense advantage for many customers.Plastic conduits of polyurethane (PUR):Compared to many other plastic conduit types, NORRES polyurethane (PUR) conduits have the following distinguishing characteristics:
However, not all polyurethanes are the same! NORRES uses special ester-polyurethane and ether-polyurethane mixtures that are differentiated with the name Pre-PUR® for several of its conduits. Please also refer to the detailed information on our very high-quality Pre-PUR® polyurethanes (see chapter 0.2) as well as to the Technical Appendix. Engineering modifications subject to change. |
