Applications

Abrasion-proof and electrically conductive suction and transport hose according to DIN 22100 Part 5, especially suitable:

• in coal mines e.g. for ventilation and methane drainage

• for tunnelling

• in areas liable to contain explosive mixtures (explosion protection)

• for high flow-rates of abrasive solids such as powder, chips and granulates

• for gaseous and liquid media

Properties

• volume and surface resistance of the inliner < 106 Ω

• appproval aqccording to DIN 22100 part 5 (formerly LOBA: testing of fire characteristics, testing of plastic materials/filter self-rescuers, testing in accordance with mining regulations on health protection § 10, testing of electrostatic properties) by an independent testing institute

• heavy model

• highly abrasion-proof (abrasion resistance about 2.5 to 5 times better than most rubber materials and about 3 to 4 times better than most soft PVC´s)

• smooth interior

• optimized flow properties

• flexible with low weight

• increased pressure and vacuum resistance

• high tensile strength and tear resistant

• good resistance to mineral oils and gasoline

• Good resistance to chemicals (refer to section 14.1)

• good resistance to UV and ozone (see chapt. 14.8)

• small bending radius

• free of softener and halogen

• gas and liquid tight

• conforms to the requirements of the European ATEX guideline

Construction

patented AIRDUC® profile hose (see chapt. 0.2):

1. spring steel wire firmly embedded in wall

2. profile with optimized flow properties

3. wall thickness 1.5 mm approx.

4. electrically conductive spiral inliner

Material

• wall: special premium polyurethane with flame-retardant additive (Pre-PUR® see chapt. 0.4)

• inliner: electrically conductive premium polyurethane (for Pre-PUR® refer to section 0.4)

• spiral: spring steel wire

Temperature Range

• -40 °C approx. to +90 °C approx.

Delivery variants

• transparent and black partially coloured (standard)

• customer-specific product marking
