NORFLEX^® PUR 401 MHF and NORFLEX^® PUR 441 MHF

New hose all-rounder with FDA approval

At the Anuga FoodTec fair (10 March 2009 to 13 March 2009, in Cologne) which takes place for fifth time this year everything is about innovation among food production again. Also NORRES, Gelsenkirchen, comes out with two new hose all-rounder for the food industry. The highly flexible NORFLEX^® PUR 401 MHF and NORFLEX^® PUR 441 MHF of premium polyurethane Pre-PUR^® supplement to the wide range of products of the FDA hoses. Thanks to its reinforced wall NORFLEX^® PUR 441 MHF resists higher working pressure.

It is the research and development department of NORRES which has intensively been engaged in the high hygienic standards of the food industry towards hose systems and fittings: two pressure hoses especially suitable for the food and pharmaceutical and chemical industry has been developed, which can be called all-rounder. They are applied as, e.g. air pressure and pneumatic hose, isolating, profile, smooth, form, twin water-cool hose, round and hollow belt. They are made of high-quality polyurethane Pre-PUR^® and are that way five times more abrasion-proof and more tear-resistant than most rubber materials and PVC as well as gas-proof and liquid-proof. NORFLEX^® PUR 401 MHF complies with EC guideline 2002/72/EG including the latest amendment 2007/19/EC by an independent testing institute for the whole hose from an inner diameter of 3.00 mm incl. That way it carries the EU glass fork logo. It is also applied for admission for NORFLEX^® PUR 441 MHF and is expected. The wall of both hoses is a food quality wall complying with: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010, EC guideline 2002/72/EC including the latest amendment 2007/19/EC, German guideline XXXIX BfR polyurethane.

The very robust all-rounder are certainly odourless, flavourless, free of softener and halogen free as well as microbe and hydrolysis resistant. NORFLEX^® PUR 401 MHF and NORFLEX^® PUR 441 are characterized by good resistance to oil, chemicals, UV and ozone. Thanks to their good low temperature flexibility the crush-proof and pressure resistant hoses can be applied in cooler temperatures (up to -40 °C). The very robust hoses have a smooth interior and exterior and convince by high tensile strength and tear resistance.
