In addition to a wide range of hoses and hose systems for transport and suction of bulk material such as powder and pellets, NORRES will show a series of innovations at the Nuremberg Powtech fair from September 30 to October 2, 2008.

In combination with the AIRDUC^® 356 reinforced polyurethane hose for loading and unloading silo vehicles, the hose manufacturer's novel safety clamp system considerably simplifies fitting and handling, and above all guarantees a substantial cost saving owing to its exceptionally long service life and high resistance to abrasion.

NORRES will also take the opportunity of Powtech to unveil two new clamp systems: the CONNECT Safety Clamp System 2311 and the CONNECT Pressfitting System 232. The CONNECT Pressfitting System 232 is predestined for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, while the CONNECT Safety Clamp System 231 is intended for industrial applications, for example in plastics production. NORRES has developed a special, threaded sealing insert that is adapted to the outer hose contour and assembled between the hose and the shell or pressing sleeve. The connection formed when the shells are clamped or the sleeves pressed together is remarkably tight. In the case of the pressfitting system, users additionally profit from connections without any clearance spaces. Both these innovative systems are designed with a form-locking groove and a form-locking bar. The resulting high tensile strength ensures that the adapter is securely held in the spiral hose even under considerable pressure.

More than 1000 exhibitors from 30 countries are predicted to attend this year's Powtech, Europe's leading exhibition for mechanical processing technologies and particle analysis.
