On February 15, NORRES Schlauchtechnik welcomed a group of schoolchildren from Carl-Friedrich Gauss Grammar School in Gelsenkirchen. The youngsters spent the day at the Gelsenkirchen hose manufacturer in the framework of a vocational preparation course. The aim was to improve the pupils’ ability to make the right career choice and prepare them for the application process.
The seminar gives both the schoolchildren and the companies taking part an opportunity to get to know one another better and establish initial contacts. At the same time, it provides valuable training upfront of their first interviews. It’s not enough simply to choose the right career – optimal preparation for the application process is an essential precondition of being offered the perfect job. Receiving an invitation to an interview is one thing; the candidates then have to convince their prospective employer in person. This is where NORRES’ job application training comes in – by making young people fit to master application situations.
NORRES Managing Director Burkhard Mollen willingly took the time to help the grammar school pupils fit themselves for professional life: “We’re delighted at the interest shown by the youngsters participating in this vocational preparation course together with NORRES. It gives us pleasure to lend them our active support and prepare them for the application process.”
