NORRES Schlauchtechnik, Gelsenkirchen, recently extended its range of cable protection systems: depending on the conduit type, the extra-tight, multi-piece AUK 158 M/P plastic conduit connector with an inner socket and seal achieves protection up to IP67 according to EN / IEC 60529.
The new AUK 158 M/P connector with an inner socket and seal as well as a rigid connecting thread is made of PA and is vibration and tension resistant. Thanks to the innovative sealing technology, which creates a tight fit around the conduit, the AUK 158 M/P achieves protection up to IP67 according to EN / IEC 60529. The high IP class of this extremely robust connector guarantees optimal protection against dust and fluids.
The new plastic connector is also ideal for the VDE certified WELLFLEX® conduits PVC 111 and PUR 118. The same IP67 protection is additionally guaranteed in combination with these two conduit types, which feature strong external corrugation.
The AUK 158 M/P is easily and quickly fitted without special tools and suitable for reuse. Its optimised large inner diameter ensures simple retraction of the cables, which are protected from damage by the inner socket. The connector is flame-retardant and contains neither softeners nor halogens. It impresses with its good resistance to chemicals, UV and ozone.
ZThe AUK 158 M/P can be supplied with M (metric) threads according to EN 60423 or P (PG) to DIN 40430. NORRES also offers the connector in metric for 19 mm or 52 mm outer conduit diameters as well as in PG 42 – in other words, a complete connector series is now available for both thread types.
