Innovative hoses for the food and pharmaceutical industry.

The demand for foodstuffs continues to grow steadily for several reasons. On one hand the world population is growing and consequently its demand for food as well, on the other hand increasing quantities of food are subject to industrial processing and/or packaging. Frozen foods and packaged, ready meals have long since conquered the market.

The NORRES product range is especially aimed at the requirements of this market:

Products with official domestic and international approvals, certifications or statements of compliance that allow them to be used in the food sector.
From ultralight, compressible vacuum hoses to heavy-duty, totally smooth delivery and pressure hoses suited for vacuum applications.
Also available with high quality spring steel wires made of stainless steel.

NORRES PROTAPE^® film hoses are extremely flexible, compressible and lightweight. NORRES AIRDUC^® and BARDUC profile hoses have very smooth interior surfaces, high axial stiffness combined with good flexibility and are lighter in weight than rubber hoses.

The particular interior smoothness of AIRDUC^® and BARDUC profile hoses meets the following customer requirements:

Better cleaning without residues
Very little deposition of the delivered material
Gentler material delivery
Section shape is optimised for flow
→ low pressure loss
→ reduction of blower power requirements
→ lower operating costs
Higher delivery rate

BARDUC profile hoses also have the advantage that they are completely smooth on the outside and are thus easy to clean. Please refer also to the Technical Appendix (see chapt. 14.5).
