Metal strip-wound hoses are produced by helical winding of cold-rolled, profiled metal tape. There are differences in tensile strength, flexibility, axial mobility, torsional stability, impermeability and chemical and thermal stability resulting from the type of profiling and the use of different metal tapes and adhesive sealants.
